Roppongi has a reputation for being a little wilder than many of the other mild-mannered suburbs of Tokyo. And that’s probably because it’s EDM club central. If you haven’t got the budget for the VIP EDM club life, but still want to soak up the atmosphere, then head over to Jumanji 55, as the bar has a pretty impressive happy hour deal. From 7-11pm they host ‘all you can drink’ for 1,000 yen (US$9), which includes seating in the VIP lounge. Be sure to get in early though, because after 11 pm the entry fee kicks in.

Magical and affordable Jumanji 55!!

We had a gala night that did not burn a hole in our pockets. All you can drink at 1,000 yen per person is ok for Tokyo. It is a no dancing bar with a one room bar but you can’t hold people back even with “no dancing” signs. The ambience is good though the place gets crowded as it has a single room and the drinks choice ranges from vodka, tequila, whisky and beer. The staff are very courteous. The music is sonorous in a huge variety of styles including Top 40 and EDM mix. A top of the class in budget clubs.
