Meguro’s weirdest museum is the Meguro Parasitological Museum. It is an exhibition space dedicated to providing visitors with an educational overview of parasites. Also, it showcases their interactions with humans including preserved specimens. If that’s not enough, the library contains over 5,000 books on parasitology. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.

Very unique and interesting museum

3.0/ 5

Last year this great little museum was suggested by one friend, so I visited it as I have interest in exploring parasites. There is great collection of human and animal parasites for display, with some signs in English. This is basically a private museum built by Parasitological Researcher who dedicated all his life in this field. Entry to this place is free but a donation is suggested. The exhibitions are less but they deliver a good snapshot of the research that took place in Japan in ancient times. Overall worth a visit.
