Ryokan Gion Yoshiima is preserved as a historical site. Located very center of Kyoto, old wooden houses are being preserved as the district of world-famous Geisha or Maiko Girls. Also facing “Simonsen” the famed antique shopping street. Major Temples, Shrines, Gardens are all walking distances. Same with kabuki-theater, shops and terminal.

Authentic ryokan experience with wonderful food!!

Ryokan Gion Yoshiima was the place where we stayed for around 3 days. We wanted to have Ryokan experience in Kyoto and it was worth it. All the rooms are located around a garden and a tea house which was the best part of this ryokan. We enjoyed the keiseki dinner here, it was lovely. The staff is obliging. We receive some postcards and willow chopsticks as a return gift so that we can never forget this place for lifetime. A wonderful ryokan experience!!!
