Shinsekai in the south of Osaka is the area surrounding that classic old landmark of Osaka, Tsutenkaku Tower. Shinsekai’s reputation is for unrefined realness. This is what you’ll also find in the gay bars here. However, don’t expect that youthful a scene!

A fascinating part of Osaka which shouldn’t be missed!!!

We visited this area during our Osaka visit to explore the streets and for shopping. There is a skyscraper Tsutenkaku Tower in this area which is worth seeing to see Osaka skyline. There are many food shops here and many options for shopping. It’s a wonderful way to spend your quality time here exploring every shop.
