Music treat at Akasaka Blitz
AkasakaBlitz has direct access to Akasaka Station, making it incredibly convenient and easy to find. The bad part is that they force you to purchase a ¥500 drink per ticket holder. It can be pretty crowded with numbered tickets so it doesn’t matter if you came early. It can accommodate 1400 people on the ground floor standing with another 150on the first floor. The floor is not sufficiently tiered so if you are short and at the back you are likely to be boxed in. The sound system is fantastic and the performances are just great. You can hear Japanese rock to Korean and Japanese pop to visual-kei (visual-style) groups in heavy make up and colourful stage costumes. Music is a treat if you don’t mind the forced drink part and the crowd.
