Sitting on one of Ni-Chome’s most well-trodden corners is the mainly outdoor AiiRO Café and bar. Home to a diverse group of clients of all genders, the bar has an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. Open from 6pm on, this is one of the best places to start your evening. To find it, just wander the streets of Ni-Chome. Keep a look out for the large Torii Gate that hovers over the bar’s entrance and the heaving crowd of guests handing around the entrance.

A Fun Gay Place to Connect

My visit to this Gay bar with my friend was a happy one. They had nice staff, happy people and a great atmosphere. There was good music. It was packed with Japanese and foreigners. I believe it had a good selection of cocktails and drinks. Beer costs around 1000 yen, other drinks are 700yen or 800yen. The best part was that there was no table charge. AiiRO was overflowing on the weekend with customers spilling onto the street. Lively, welcoming atmosphere with very diverse crowd. A great place to start your evening, enjoy the scene and make new friends especially if you are gay. The only thing is that there are no seats .
