Akagakiya

I visited this izakaya with my boyfriend for having dinner which is one of the oldest restaurant in Kyoto. There is tiny garden in the middle portion which is eye-pleasing. We tried the various Japanese dishes here and they were delicious. The best thing is that the open sake is served in a square wooden cup and its taste is amazing. Staff is attentive and friendly.
