Kiyomizedera Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is only a 15-minute walk away from Hotel Maifukan. In addition to its western-style rooms, this hotel provides traditional Japanese-style rooms. In either of which, you’ll be sure to get a good night’s rest after a day of wandering the streets of Gion. To top it off, a stay here includes their authentic French breakfast.

An enjoyable stay with a convenient location

Our business group was given accommodation at this place during our meeting in Kyoto. The room given was authentic and spacious. This place is located nearby the major temples and shopping area. The staff was exceptional in providing all the services. Food was wonderful here. It was the best way to get an insight of Japanese culture and traditions.
