One hundred and eighty meters tall, Nagoya TV Tower looms over Nagoya. Built in 1954, the tower’s original purpose as a TV tower is all but redundant. Today, it is a symbol of Japanese modernization. More importantly for us, a must-see tourist spot, especially at night. Located in Hisaya Odori Park, a relaxing spot in the heart of the bustling downtown, there are two observation decks, the Sky Balcony at 100 meters and the Skydeck at 90 meters – ascend to either after nightfall and you’re in for a treat. As the lights glitter, you’ll find yourself thankful for the digital age.

A wonderful view of Nagoya skyline

5.0/ 5

Nagoya TV tower is the landmark of Nagoya which was visited by me with my family during my Japan trip. The entry fees is 1000 yen. The Observation deck has two floors, one is an interior floor and another one is the floor which is for viewing the beautiful cityscape of Nagoya. A beer garden restaurant is also there for enjoying meals at the base of the tower. Come here and experience a spectacular view of Nagoya skyline at this place.
