On the 52nd floor of the same building as Peak Lounge & Bar is the popular New York Grill & Bar. Take in the breathtaking beauty of Tokyo from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows of this trendy establishment. The walls are dressed with four paintings of New York scenes by Italian artist Valerio Adami. The bar has a wine cellar with 1800 bottles of fine wines. Enjoy a classy evening of Japan-New York fusion cuisines prepared by a world class chef and his team, accompanied by some delightful wine.

A gem of a bar in Tokyo

After walking around for a long time, we decided to go to New York Grill in Park Hyatt hotel in Shinjuku. The view from 52nd floor was nothing short of delightful. As expected of a five star hotel the interiors and illumination were soft and subdued. There was good real live jazz playing which we relished with Japanese whiskeys and cocktails. There was a wide variety of wines. There were many tourists. My friend kept glancing at a beautiful Japanese girl on our right. Coming to the food. It wasn’t cheap. Nothing was cheap but it was a treat! I stuck to food familiar to me but my friend fried some Japanese sea food. I would love to go there another day.
